“Landscape with
a Shepherd and his Cows” (aka “Two Cows beside a Tree”), 1744, plate 27 from
the series, “Landscapes and Heads”. A lifetime impression (based on the quality
of the line showing no sign of wear to the printing plate), dated and signed in
the plate with the artist’s monogram), formerly in the collection of the French
collector, F. A. Maglin (fl.1891–1905; Lugt 1777; see https://www.getty.edu/art/collection/person/1051V7
& https://www.nga.gov/collection/provenance-info.52810.html),
with his name inscribed in ink verso and with the date, “1902”.

Condition: a well-printed
impression with wide margins. The sheet is in a good condition with no tears,
holes, folds, abrasions, significant stains or losses. The verso has an ink
inscription identifying a known former collector and date (“F A Maglin 1902” [Lugt
1777]).
I am selling
this small etching for AU$248 (equivalent to approximately US$160.65, EUR 141.74,
or GBP 120.85 at the time of listing) and includes Express Mail Service (EMS)
postage and handling to any worldwide destination. Please note that any import
