Colour lithograph in three colours (two shades of brown and black) on heavy wove paper, with full margins as issued. This piece is Plate 28 from the series of 35 plates entitled “Laubwerk” (Foliage), printed in Paris by Armand Cattier (1830–1892) and published through three agencies: Henri Jules Jeannin and Goupil & Vibert in Paris, and E. Gambart, Junin & Co. in London. The blind-stamps of the Parisian publishers are visible above their respective lettered addresses.
