“The Banks of the Seine near Rouen” (or “Les
Bords de la Seine à Rouen [Cours-la-Reine]”), published in 1876
Technical Details & Condition:
Etching with plate tone on laid paper, signed in the plate at lower
right corner. The etching was published in Paris in the art journal “The
Portfolio” in May 1876, on page 72.
The impression is notably strong, crisply detailed with no sign of
wear to the printing plate. The sheet is in excellent condition, free of tears,
holes, abrasions, or significant stains.
