Technical Details & Condition:
Etching with plate tone on cream laid paper with full margins as issued. Printed and published in Paris by the widow (veuve) of Alfred Cadart (active 1875–1882) as plate 23 from the volume, “L'Eau Forte en 1878” (Etching in 1878). This is a superb and near faultless impression that is richly inked and well-printed. The sheet is in near pristine condition, free from tears, holes, folds, abrasions, stains, or signs of handling.
