Technical Details & Condition:

Etching on fine watermarked laid paper with full margins as issued. This is plate 89, published and printed in Paris in 1871 by Cadart & Luce, as an illustration for the art periodical “L'Illustration Nouvelle”, volume 3 (see https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b8527598g/f9.item).

This is a superb impression that is richly inked and well-printed. The sheet is in near pristine condition, free of tears, holes, folds, abrasions, stains, or signs of handling.
