Etching on laid paper trimmed close to the image borderline with the lettered text below the image borderline and backed with a support sheet.

Size: (sheet) 30.6 x 46.6 cm; (image borderline) 30 x 46.6 cm.

Lettered on plate below the image borderline: (left) “Adr. Manglard fecit Romæ 1753."

Condition: a well-printed impression with many restorations and laid upon an archival support sheet of millennium quality washi paper.

Etching on laid paper trimmed along (or possibly slightly within) the plate mark and backed with a support sheet.

Size: (sheet) 31.5 x 47.4 cm; (image borderline) 30 x 47 cm.

Lettered on plate below the image borderline: (left) “Adr. Manglard fecit Romæ 1753."

Condition: a strong and well-printed early/lifetime impression (based on the quality of line) with a restored tear below the image borderline, a chipped lower left corner and laid on a support of archival (millennium quality) washi paper.

I am selling this pair of large and rare etchings capturing the drama of the portrayed shipwrecks in a layering of hatched strokes, for the total cost of AU$620 in total for the pair (currently US$470.88/EUR384.95/GBP347.69 at the time of this listing) including Express Mail (EMS) postage and handling to anywhere in the world, but not (of course) any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries.
