Six original etchings by Camille Roche (1894-1948), bound into the first edition of Claude Farrére’s (1876–1957) book, “Le Pont du Ciel” (Collection les Panathénées IV), published in 1926 by Editions Lapina (Collection les Panathénées). Etchings on laid paper (Arches watermark) with letterpress French text recto and verso and full margins bound in book.

Size: (each sheet) 19.3 x 14.2cm.

Condition: the book is covered by a previous collector in glassine paper and is in an excellent (near pristine) condition with no tears, holes, folds, abrasions or significant stains.

I am selling this curiously wonderful book with Camille Roche’s original etchings serving as illustrations to a play set in China during the Zhou dynasty, for the total cost of AU$305 (approximately US$199.44, EUR 170.52, or GBP 147.48), this includes worldwide express postage and handling.
