Antoine de Marcenay de Ghuy (1724–1811)
“Three river landscapes and a forest view”, 1773–78, printed on a single sheet of wove paper (20 x 11 cm) backed with a support sheet. The Rijksmuseum offers a description of this set of four etchings:
UPPER ETCHING:
“Plate 49: Paysage un par une voûte de rochers” (Landscape one by one arch of rocks), c.1778

“Landscape with river running into right foreground, and in the left foreground, trees, a house and a round tower”
Condition: all four etchings are richly inked and strong impressions. Beyond a faint dot on the upper left edge, the sheet is in excellent condition (i.e. there are no tears, holes, losses, creases, abrasions or significant stains) and is laid onto a support sheet of archival (millennium quality) washi paper.
I am selling this set of four tiny etchings of superb quality printed on the same sheet, for the total cost of AU$380 (currently US$235.09/EUR211.77/GBP191.34 at the time of this listing) including postage and handling to anywhere in the world (but not, of course, any import duties/taxes imposed by some countries).
